Over the years this position is largely dominated by men and has become a very tough position for women to fight for.

Theme for my working campaign is SANKOFA, a journey to restore the past values of the SRC.I strongly believe that together we can bring about positive change and make a lasting impact on our campus and in our life. I cannot wait to share my vision for the student population on the following subject areas, academics, accommodation, welfare, transport, capacity building, empowerment of physically challenged students, security, sports, health, international student integration and entrepreneurship”.

Together with her running mate, Nana Kwabena Osei, popularly known as NKAY.
Many believe that with this excellent duo they can strongly contest for this position.
“Our work and study policy is in twofolds, one is getting students to work on campus and the other is securing jobs in other institutions for students on campus”, Kwabena Osei said in their recent vetting.

One major policy of this team is THE 30/20/30/20 AGENDA

This is to alleviate financial pressure, the SRC will advocate for financial flexibility in the payment of the school fees, allowing students to manage their finances more effectively.
The 30/20/30/20 policy will allow school fees to be paid in four installments.
With this policy, no student will ever have to defer / truncate their education as a result of an inability to pay school fees.

Yvonne Osei Adobea is motivated to inspire more women to fight for various positions especially when it comes to leadership positions to change the gender narratives in leadership and to encourage them attain their full potential.
