YOURS FAITHFULLY EP BY YHAW HERO
In recent years, singer/ songwriter Yhaw Hero has emerged as a rising star in Ghana, with various hits.Impressively he has gained the love of many music lovers especially people outside Ghana.
The talented singer has released his debut EP, YOURS FAITHFULLY. This 7-song collection is an excellent work, that shows his unique qualities, his insightful and personal songwriting.This EP is full of high energy, youthful, catchy songs that can appeal to a worldwide audience. Yhaw Hero also displays his range as a songwriter and artist, with some softer, understated songs that show a more vulnerable, personal story.
For example, (Wonderland)”is a tune that is similar to his previous songs. It’s a delicate, introspective song that is honest and heartfelt. Other highlight include his love song “ Sad and love”, this love song came as a surprise to his fans because many never expected a love song from the Ghetto Preacher.
In addition to his songwriting and recording, Yhaw Hero is a talented video artist who has released many entertaining videos. Several of his videos are full productions that display vibrant choreography and elaborate set designs.
Yhaw Hero popularly known as Ghetto Hero who is 20 years, grew up in Accra, where he was inspired by many artists like Kwesi Arthur, Sarkodie and Stonebwoy. He has always loved music and started writing songs when he was a teenager, his music journey was purely accidental as he started off as a battle rapper in Senior High School and made a lot of waves with his freestyle videos.
His style and energy is very different and has made him the fans favorite.
With his debut EP, it starts off with “11 SIX” a catchy song with a unique title and lyric concept. The new song, “FOR LIFE” has more intense rock sound, another highlight is “THE WAIT”which has a hooky chorus melody and sounds ideal for radio airplay.
Also on the EP is a song about his personal life, “WONDERLAND”, that provides a change of pace. Another highlight is “BRA FIE” which is more about him chasing his dreams.
Another single on his EP, “Mempe Mansem”which has an excellent, unique lyric idea.
And the last song on his EP “Sad and love is a tune that is quite different from his other songs.
This is an excellent EP that ranks with his best work. It contains many songs that are well-produced and the EP flows well from beginning to end.
