Rapper Sarkodie has replied fellow musician Samini on blueticking him after he sent him a song for a feature.
Different colleagues have come out at different times to share their sentiments on how Sarkodie air or doesn’t reply them when they send him WhatsApp messages and reggae dancehall artiste Samini has added his name to the list.
A fan yesterday on twitter asked Samini when he will be doing a song with Sarkodie after their hit song ‘Love Rocks’ and the last time they even recorded a song at the studio. Samini in respond said he will never ask for a verse from the rapper and neither will he grant him a verse if he ever need one from him.
This tweet and other tweets from the multiple award winning reggae dancehall artiste has spark talks on social media and traditional media.
In an interview with ace radio presenter and disc jockey, Andy Dosty on Hitz FM’s entertainment program Day Break Hitz, Sarkodie said he can just be sorry for how the dancehall art feels but not necessarily because he agree, this comes after Samini said to Andy Dosty that Sarkodie disrespected him. He said;
“I have done verses for him including love rocks which took me just 24 hours but failed to returned the favour after sending him 3 songs and he chose one but never heard from him again”.
“He is my boy but he disrespected me, when he was coming up in one of his freestyle, he said he wanted to be big like me but he then dissed me one time in one of his songs when he became known”, he explained.
Sarkodie in response to what his colleague talked about said;
“I’m sorry for how he feels but that doesn’t necessarily mean I agree with everything he said, I understand but I can’t control how he feels and that’s what I’m sorry for”.
The rapper proceeded to explained why he has never come out to debunk such issues when they come out and address it.
“I deal with situations differently, I do it my own way, I might be wrong but that’s my logic of living, if you don’t take care with certain things, you might say or do something you shouldn’t. I also have issues that I have never come out to complain about because I deal with such issues differently, I won’t go on twitter to talk about it or anything but I can only say sorry to how he feels and we will talk about this at the right time”, he said.
Most people have asked for the two legends to solve the issue and unite and the industry need unity to conquer not division.
