Radio presenter and PRO for Ghamro, De Don Prince Tsegah has made a serious statement about rapper Obinini.
The hip-hop or rap culture is mostly about comparison of rappers as to who is the best in terms of lyrical dexterity, flow, delivery and content.
Obinini has over the years tried to prove his lyrical prowess as one of the best rappers in Ghana.
The ‘Ahye me’ hitmaker in an interview with Giovanni Caleb on TV3, revealed that given the opportunity to list his top 5 rappers in Ghana, celebrated rapper Sarkodie won’t make it. He Said;
” When given the opportunity, Sarkodie won’t be in my top 5, probably will make it in my top 10, I have a weird playlist, that’s why he won’t make it in my top 5 list”.
De Don Prince Tsegah who is the host of radio show ‘Usey Wetin’ on Hitz FM, found this words or opinion from Obinini as disrespectful.
“Now boys don’t respect, Sarkodie won’t make your top 5 best rappers, it’s your opinion but that’s why you are not blowing, you said you have weird playlist, that’s why you can’t blow because we also can’t vibe with you, instead of you to learn from someone who has made it from the same trade as you, you are here disrespecting”, He said.
