Reggae dancehall artiste Charles Nii Armah Mensah known for his musicianship as Shatta Wale has announced a tour in Nigeria.
The multiple award winning artiste has been over the years criticised for his promotional style when it comes to his craft and music.
Shatta Wale who a year ago criticised his colleagues for touring in Nigeria, has eaten the humble pie, opting to tour Nigeria despite his utterances.
The “On God” hitmaker is yet to communicate the date for the tour after releasing the artwork with the theme “King of African Dancehall”.
Shatta Wale, who was in New York last weekend, announced the date for the release of his next studio album dubbed ‘Gift Of God’ and probably the reason for this tour.
Fans and music lovers await the date for the tour as they are anticipating how the Nigerian music industry will accept Shatta Wale after the online fight with one of their biggest stars BurnaBoy and also his trash talk about Nigerian artistes and their industry although he has also said some positive things about their industry.
