Lynx entertainment signee Dennis Nana Dwamena populary known as Kidi has made a strong statement in the aftermath of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards brouhaha.
The “Say Cheese” hitmaker won 4 awards at the just ended 22nd Vodafone Ghana Music Awards and was eyeing for the ultimate which is the artiste of the year but unfortunately lost to gospel musician Diana Hamilton.
The singer and songwriter after he lost the ultimate award which almost everyone thought he would win was trolled heavily on social media.
Most of the people on social media especially Twitter trolled him for competing against a gospel musician with the song “Adom” (Grace) when he is there singing send me nudes.
In an interview with ace Disc Jockey and host of Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM disclosed that some of the trolls or comment got to him.
“The fact that I do not do gospel music does not mean I am a demon or a devil. I saw a lot of tweets from Christians saying ‘How dare you go against Adom with Say Cheese? I mean am I a devil? It’s music I’m doing, I have not killed person” he said.
He also revealed that his step dad is a pastor and he is a church boy and further stated that his new album “Golden Boy” is out and we should rather channel our energy to stream it and support him.
