Emmanuel Essiam of Berekum Chelsea have completed a four and half year deal to join Swiss side FC Basel. This deal was completed on Monday.
Essiam was an integral member of the U20 National team side that won the 2021 AFCON that took place in Mauritania.
Essiam has already reacted to this move as he was already in love with the decision to join the swiss side.
The midfielder is touted to be one of the prospects who can play for the senior national team in the future.
The Player’s entourage believes signing this contract would be key and as a stepping stone for the players development.
FC Basel says, They are happy that with Emmanuel we were able to tie a promising talent in midfield to FCB in the long term. He has good dynamics, is agile and agile.”
“He works hard in the center, always in the service of the team and can therefore recapture many balls from the opponent,” Basel squad planner Philipp Kaufmann said.
