According to some information captured from the GoThereWithKobbyKyei welfare and donations initiative, the good people of Ahiakukorpe and Netsikorpe, in the Ketu North District Assembly, are in dire need of clean and good drinking water to support their livelihood.
It is believed that the whole community has only one borehole, which is quite distant from the two villages. The kind of water they domestically use, which happens to be their main source of water, have been from streams within the area, which comes with mud and other unhealthy compositions.
It is again believed that Honorable Klutse Avedzi, the Member of Parliament for the constituency signed GH10,000, for the construction of a borehole for this community, but nothing has been done to this effect.
A mechanized borehole tends to be the only solution for this problem; thus, they are pleading with corporate institutions, individuals and Non-governmental organizations to help them acquire one to aid the supply of good drinking water for the community.
