Lionel Messi has joined Dani Alves as one of the most decorated players in history.
The Argentine football legend achieved the landmark feat on Saturday, May 27, following Paris Saint-Germain’s French Ligue 1 triumph.
PSG were crowned champions for the 11th time with a game to spare after their 1-1 draw with Strasbourg.
World Cup winner Messi put PSG ahead after he was set up by Kylian Mbappe in the 59th minute before former PSG striker Kevin Gameiro equalized for Strasbourg with 11 minutes left on the clock.
The draw was still enough to secure PSG the French top-flight title as it meant Lens, who were their closest challengers, had no chance against them.
PSG’s triumph now mean that Messi is the player with most Trophies in the history of football
