Over the past few years, singer Yhaw Hero has proven to be one of the hottest upcoming artists in Ghana music. Impressively, he has co-written over 5 hits, including Cold War which have been making waves across Africa.
Yhaw Hero has a very expressive, distinctive singing voice, and his songs are thoughtful and heartfelt. His recent single, “Cold War”, provides a good introduction to his music. It’s an excellent song that has an appealing melody, a warm spirit, and a lyric story that captures the feelings he experienced during the past years.
The young sensation, grew up mainly in Tema, although he has also lived in Awoshie and other cities. Growing up, he had crazy love for music and began singing at an early age. He took inspirations from the likes of Sarkodie and Kwesi Arthur since they are all from the same city. During his final year at Senior High school that is where Yhaw Hero popularly known as Ghetto Hero decided to take his music life very serious and to a different level.
Since then, the young boy from Tema has steadily released songs and built a large fan base on Instagram , and also attracted followings on tiktok and YouTube.
He has 5 singles this included the hits “Genesis, “Too Young”, Far Away”, “19 years”“Cold War” . Besides the hit songs mentioned above, he has decided to dedicate his first revenue from his song 19 years to cater for school fees for one university student.
“My song 19 Years talks about the stress of a young adult and it hurts to see students trying to take their lives. As part of a personal effort to ease the burden, I have decided to dedicate my first revenue from the record to cater for school fees for one student”, Yhaw Hero said.
This clearly shows how special he is as an upcoming artist. His current streams on all musical platforms currently demonstrates how good he is. Due to his hits he was endorsed by one of the Greatest music makers in Nigeria Don Jazzy. The young talent and his team have headlined several tours in the last few months. In addition,Hero is known for performing special concerts at various universities across Ghana.
Currently Yhaw Hero is busy working on several new projects.
