Rapper Osei Kwaku Vincent known as Strongman has shared his view on the upcoming Vodafone Ghana music awards.
The 21st Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) comes off on the 28th and the 29th of August 2020.
The rapper has been nominated for the best rapper of the year, hiphop song of the year among other artistes as we wait to see who wins what at VGMA’S.
The overall artiste of the year is the most talked about, as most people await who will be crowned as the artiste of the year.
Highlife artistes Kuame Eugene and Kofi Kinaata, Gospel artiste Diana Hamilton and Hiplife and Hiphop artistes Medikal and Sarkodie have all been nominated for the ultimate award of the night.
The ‘transformer’ hitmaker in an interview with TV3 when asked who he thinks deserves to win artiste of the year, said;
“They all worked hard but I think Sarkodie worked harder in 2019 than any artiste, he deserves the artiste of the year than anyone else nominated”.
He went on to say the Black Love album by Sarkodie has hit songs when it was released.
“The Black Love album deserves the album of the year, every song on it was a hit”.
Strongman was signed under Sarkcess music owned by Sarkodie but went separate ways after the contract ended.
By the end of 28th and 29th of August, music lovers and Ghanaians will know who won the artiste of the year and other categories of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).
