Stop Disrespecting People Like Sarkodie Stonebwoy And Shatta Wale Because Of The Achievements Of New Artistes-Kofi Jamar Cautions Fans

Fast-rising Ghanaian rapper Kofi Jamar has cautioned music fans to accord respect to top artistes like Sarkodie, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale.

According to the “Ekorso” hitmaker, although some new artistes are doing well and their names are all over does not mean their seniors need to be disrespected for the sake of it.

This comment from Kofi Jamar comes on the back of the numerous debates on social media where fans and social media users are comparing some new artistes to the older ones and are boldly asserting that the newbies are doing better than the oldies.

In a recent social media post, Kofi Jamar called on Ghanaian music fans should stop disrespecting the likes of Sarkodie, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale because of the little success that new artistes like himself are currently enjoying.

He wrote: Stop disrespecting people like Sarkodie, Shatta, Stonebwoy and the likes just because of an achievement made by we newbies. What we’ve come to see and accomplish is been their years of hardworking and consistency. Let’s put some respect on their names plsss

Kofi Jamar is part of a crop of young Ghanaian artistes who are pushing the frontiers and redefining hip-hop and rap music in Ghana.
