Asante Kotoko midfielder Justice Blay underwent a successful knee surgery on Wednesday and is expected to return within two to three months.
Blay suffered a horrible knee during Asante Kotoko’s training session ahead of their Ghana Premier League match-week week 24 game against Hearts of Oak. Kickgh.com can exclusively confirm that the 30-year-old midfielder underwent a successful surgery to treat the injury and is expected to be sidelined for two months.
Blay has managed to make seven appearances for Asante Kotoko after sealing a two-year move to the club from fellow Premier League outfit Medeama SC during the GFA’s second round transfer window. He has joined Isaac Oppong and young goalkeeper Abdul Rafiu Yakubu in Asante Kotoko’s treatment room.
