Former French Ambassador to Ghana, Anne Sophie Ave, talks about what went into putting up a show in Ghana and France to bridge the musical gap between both countries.
Recounting her experience with the concert on the “Daybreakhitz” show with Andy Dosty this morning, she revealed that, the endeavor was a tedious task and she would never want to see herself go through such a process that is out of her field.
The music enthusiast narrated the ordeal she had to go through to get the artist to perform in France and how EIB boss, Bola Ray’s organizing role was crucial for her in order for both shows to thrive.
“It was an incredible experience.I’ve come to the conclusion that I will not become an event organizer. I think it’s an actual job. A profession which was not mine. So I really tried and we did it. But thank God I had Bola Ray, he was used to it and knew how to handle the artists”. She stated.
Anne Sophie explained that, because she was a novice to the event organizing business, she actually had a hectic time finding her way around it. An engagement she would never involve herself in, going forward. She mentioned.
“Is not something I intend doing again. I mean, we each have to stay in our swimming lanes. It was much of an improvisation and thanks to the help of Bola Ray, we managed to do it. It’s a different work and it was difficult to do it in France because of the cost”. The former French ambassador to Ghana told Andy.
The “Accra in Paris” concert which was aimed at connecting Ghana and France through Music, saw performances from the likes of Kwabena Kwabena,Sarkodie,Stonebwoy from Ghana as well as Passi and Orti from France.
