Kofi Jamar challenges Ghanaians to be deep thinkers and forego dramatization and mediocrity. The “Ekorso” hitmaker in a Tweet sighted by atogarbrah.com stated that most Ghanaians hate silence and it shows in our taste of music and the level of mediocrity we hail in our entertainment space.
The tweet read:
Most of us Ghanaians are addicted to the noise and the drama.
We hate the silence and it shows in our choice of music and the entertainment we seek.I feel meditation have to be introduced in schools to breed a new wave of thinkers in the system. We got to rewrite the code Brain
The tweet received mixed feelings among social media users. As to why he made such a post, one cannot tell. However, the “They Don’t Know” crooner had earlier made a series of tweets slamming Ghanaian Twitter users who always do needless comparisons, pitching up and coming artistes to A-list artistes.
Stop disrespecting people like Sarkodie,Shatta, Stonebwoy and the likes just because of an achievement made by we newbies.
What we’ve come to see and accomplish is been their years of hardworking and consistency ✊🏾
Let’s put some respect on their names plsss— Kofi Jamar ⛓ (@KofiJamar) March 9, 2021
He didn’t stop there. He encouraged upcoming youth interested in polictics to read wide and specifically study the books of Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah (Ghana’s first president and liberator of white imperialism) and American History as he thinks they have the blueprint to push the country in the right direction.
America is not a country, It’s a company. If we think in those terms, There will be more solid plans to push our country in the right direction.
Any youth coming up with political ambition should really study Osagyefo’s books and American History, They got the blueprints🗝— Kofi Jamar ⛓ (@KofiJamar) March 9, 2021
This has provoked a discourse in the entertainment scene and I’m glad we have leaders of the new school having visionary thoughts about our dear country. The foolish ones will continue to argue his logic and the wise ones will take his words in good faith and work towards it.
