KOTOKO VS WAFA: MATCH PREVIEW

Match-week 10 of the ongoing Ghana Premier League continues this weekend as Kumasi based Asante Kotoko welcomes WAFA to Kumasi.

Kotoko returned to winning ways in a 2-1 victory last weekend at the Dawu Park against Legon Cities.

Frank Mbella is in fine form and would be a huge boost to Coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum as he faces his former side.

WAFA however would be building upon their win against Medeama last week. Agyapong scored the only goal of the match in the dying minutes of the game.

Kotoko is 3rd on the league table while WAFA one the other hand occupies 15th place on the log.

Kotoko has won a total of five matches this season, drawn twice and lost once this season in the eight games.

WAFA on the other hand haven’t enjoyed a good spell since the commencement of the league and have won only two matches, drawn twice and lost five times.

Asante Kotoko vs WAFA’s head to head record shows that of the 10 meetings they’ve had, Asante Kotoko has won 2 times and WAFA has won 3 times. 5 fixtures between them have ended in a stalemate.

Much is expected in this encounter as to whether Kotoko’s gaffer would be able to secure all three points against his former side or WAFA would pull a surprise on Sunday.

Kick-off: 3pm
Match Prediction: Kotoko 3-1 WAFA
