Songwriter, singer and Lynx entertainment signee Kidi’s song “Touch It” has been nominated for the most outstanding international song of the year.
The 53rd edition of the annual National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) image awards slated on February 26th at Los Angeles for their category outstanding international song has seen “Touch It” by Kidi nominated.
The song on the ‘Golden Boy’ album was the only Ghanaian song nominated for that category but faces competition as it compete with four (4) other songs from our neighboring country Nigeria.
The songs in that category are Touch It by Kidi, Essence remix by Wizkid featuring Tems and Justin Bieber, Somebody’s son by Tiwa Savage ft Brandy, Peru by Fireboy DML and Understand by Omah Lay.
The event which will happen next month February 26th will be virtual because of the pandemic coronavirus.
