The Phobians have abrogated their contract with the lanky strike after just one season, Kickgh.com can exclusively confirm.

Ghana Premier League champions Hearts of Oak have terminated their contract with Abednego Tetteh following his poor performance at the club since his arrival.

In May last year, Hearts of Oak announced the acquisition of the former Bechem United top scorer on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee.

The management of the Capital based club have parted ways with the 30-year-old attacker after failing to live up to expectations in the just ended season.

Tetteh struggled for regular playing time at the club under Coach Samuel Boadu despite their Ghana Premier League and FA Cup triumph. He was deemed as surplus to requirements by the technical team of Hearts of Oak which the club opted to abrogated his contract to be expired in May 2023.

Tetteh made only five appearances for Hearts of Oak in a competition during the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season.

He took to his official Facebook page to announce his departure from the Rainbow club
