Jordan Opoku Darko, a former Kotoko midfielder, voiced his disappointment at Kotoko’s claim that Accra Hearts of Oak would perform better than them in Africa.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) Champions League and Confederation Cup will feature The Porcupine Warriors and Accra Hearts of Oak, respectively.
Asante Kotoko, an African squad that will be competing, is in a pickle amid rumors that head coach Prosper Ogum Nartey has left his position.
Jordan Opoku believes the club’s management may be to blame for the team’s failure in their African campaign, despite the fact that neither party has presented any official documentation to support the claims.
Opoku, popularly known ” RIVER JORDAN” in an exclusive interview with Kumasi based Agyenkwa fm said, Kotoko is doing the mistake bitterest rivals Hearts of Oak did and suffered defeats in Africa last season
”Hearts after the season allowed some qualities in the team left and we all saw what happened’. They (Hearts of oak ) learnt lessons and now they’re keeping their qualities” he added.
.”See if Hearts of Oak put up better performance and reach far in Africa than Kotoko, I won’t be surprise because Kotoko is selling the quality and Hearts is keeping the quality” he concluded.
