Manchester City’s center forward, Erling Haaland bagged a brace for City as they managed to get the best of Swiss side Young Boys(1-3) in the Uefa Champions League.
The Norwegian star pulled off the double for his side as he put them top of the table with 9points in Group G. Seated at a favorable position with a game away to seal qualification into the next stage.
A penalty and an assist from Rodri was all the prolific forward needed to register his name on the scoresheet away from home.
While the first half of the game saw a stalemate, City’s delectable experience and style of play came to bare as they neatly buried their chances later in the second half to take back the lead after their first goal was equalized.
The English giants will be looking to replicate same performance when they come against city rivals Manchester United on Sunday at Old Trafford.
