Gyakie, the daughter of the legendary musician Nana Agyampong, has topped as the most streamed Ghanaian female act on Boomplay.
The “Forever” hitmaker had 20.2M streams to top all female acts in Ghana and the third most streams of all Ghanaian artistes only behind Sarkodie and Black Sherif.
The young artiste also had 2,259,691 listeners and 1,010,744.5 hours streamed.
It has been a good year for Gyakie as she topped as the most streamed Ghanaian female artiste in 2021 on Boomplay.
Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) reigning artiste of the year, Diana Hamilton was the second most streamed female artiste in Ghana.
Diana Hamilton had 9.5M streams making her the second most streamed female artiste in Ghana on Boomplay year under review.
The gospel giant also had listeners of 974,436 and hours streamed of 474,665.
Rufftown record signee, Wendy Shay came third with a total of 7.6M streams and 1,160,261 listeners.
Wendy Shay also clocked 381,326 hours streamed. The “Heat” hitmaker had massive support of streams on the platform.
Another gospel giant Joyce Blessing came next with 3.6M streams and listeners of 421,313 and hours of music streamed of 181,644.
The former lynx entertainment signee, MzVee amassed a total of 2.1M streams and 485,218 listeners with 104,908 hours streamed.
Obaa Christy also clocked 1.9M streams with 101,519 listeners and 93,057.5 hours streamed.
Sister Afia who dropped her “Asuoden” song couple of weeks ago also had 637.7K streams and the Queen of female vocalists in Ghana as they call her, Efya Nokturnal had 557.K streams in 2021 on Boomplay.
Ghanaian female Artistes has received massive support in 2021 irrespective of the perception that they don’t get the support needed.
