Asante Kotoko ‘reject’ and Accra Hearts of Oak darling boy Daniel Afriyie Barnie will become the 5th player to join the banking queue to collect a cool five thousand Ghana cedis after scoring the lone goal in the super clash.
Afriyie Barnie’s 62nd minute goal took Hearts of Oak to the summit of the Ghana Premier league table on 59 points with 3 matches to go.
Under the Sponsorship deal signed with ‘Hisense’, Asante Kotoko will pay any opposing player that scores the winning goal against them.
Daniel Afriyie Banie becomes the 5th player to score the winning goal against the Fabulous club, after Michael Yeboah of Olympics, Samuel Buoh of Aduana Stars, Alhaji Mustapha of Elmina Sharks, and Richard Boadu of Medeama SC did that earlier in the season.
The Hisense deal, signed in 2020 will also see players of Asante Kotoko take the 5,000 should they win a Ghana Premier league.
The deal also includes the following
GH₵230,000 worth of products to furnish its Adacko Jachie training base.
GH₵5,000 worth of products for its Goal of the Month winner.
GH₵5,000 for its Fan of the Month competition
