Kwadwo Akwaboah, a highlife artist from Ghana, passed away.
His son Gladstorm Akwaboah, who is also a musician and goes by the name Akwaboah in modern Ghanaian music, announced his father’s passing.
He died at Kumasi’s Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in the wee hours of May 16, 2023, according to Oktranking sources.
Akwaboah uploaded a picture of his father to WhatsApp along with the message, “Thank you for being ma Daddy, rest well.”
Some of Kwadwo Akwaboah’s popular songs are ‘Awerekyekyere’, ‘Hini Me’, among others.
