Asante Kotoko have selected 30 young and upcoming players to serve as a feeder side for their first team squad in the Ghanaian top-flight contest.
After opening registration for the exercise, over 100 applicants were believed to have shown up to prove their mettle against their colleagues and only the above mentioned figures have had their way through after the list was whittled down by the technical men.
The Baba Yara Sports Stadium outfit said the exercise aims at grooming young and upcoming talents ranging from the age of 15 to 19 to form a formidable Youth Team (men) for their main team ranks.
These youth prospects are set to be under the care of talent grooming gaffer Abdul Gazale, with the affable coach expecting to bring his expertise to bear in honing the talents of their current youth picked-up.
The exercise lasted for only three days.
