In a sad report, one of Ghana’s legendary highlife musicians, AB Crentsil has reportedly died.
He reportedly died on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, and at the time of this report, details of his death were not available, but trust us to bring you up-to-date news in this regard.
However, news of his death was confirmed on the popular micro-blogging platform, Twitter by renowned and award-winning Ghanaian disc jockey, DJ BIBINI.
His real name is Alfred Benjamin “A. B.” Crentsil and he was born in the year, 1943. He is considered one of the “big three” contemporary Ghanaian vocalists.
Throughout his career, he has won numerous Ghanaian music awards, including the Fontomfrom Evergreen Award, a special honor bestowed upon a musician with 15–20 years of continuous music experience
Some of his songs are I Go Pay You Tomorrow, Papa Samo, Moses, Juliana, Atia, Angelina, Ayen, Devil, Adwoa, Adam & Eve, and many others.
