Winner of TV3 Mentor X reveals he has not received his prize money and car promised him by emerging the Winner of the competition.
The music reality show Mentor, over the years have nurtured young up and coming musicians in their quest to be music super stars.
The 2021 edition of Mentor dubbed ‘Mentor X’ Winner called De Sound Lord (DSL), speaking to ace presenter Andy Dosty on Hitz FM today, revealed that after 6 months of winning the competition, he is yet to receive his prize money and car. He said;
“I’m yet to receive my car, I have called several times and they said they are still working on it. It’s been 6 months now because the finals was on the 9th of January this year. I have decided not to call in order not to make it look like I’m pressuring them”.
Asked whether if the prize money which is Ghc100,000 has been received, he said;
“No I have not received the money either, nothing has been given to me”.
He also made mentioned that if the money has been given to Lynx entertainment as part of the contract of him being under the label for one year, then he is not aware because nothing of that sort has been communicated to him.
