Chief Executive Officer of Asante Kotoko has thrown a challenge to the clubs teeming fans to come on board and contribute towards having their own football stadium.
The club founded in 1935 has had to use the Baba Yara Stadium, an arena which is named after a legend of the club but does not belong to the the two-time African champions.
The CEO though bemoaned the low Attendance on match days despite the team’s brilliant Campaign. But reiterates the need for the club to own it’s Stadium from the backdrop of the challenges the team has faced in the past years as regards to the use of the stadium.
“We need 100,000 committed supporters to pay $100 each to build a stadium 🏟 in 18 months “
He further assured his supporters that no player will leave the stadium until the end of the season.
“I can assure everyone that no player will leave until the end of the season.”He told Oyerepa fm
