Songstress Wendy Addo known populary as Wendy Shay says she will bring Grammy award to Ghana this year.
The question of who will be the first Ghanaian musician to win a Grammy award still has not been answered.
This conversation has been going on over the years especially in the last couple of years when our neighbouring country Nigeria’s BurnaBoy and Wizkid won the prestigious award.
Despite Rocky Dawuni earning a nomination two times in the best reggae album of the year and world music category with albums ‘Branches of The Same Tree’ and Beats of Zion in the 58th Grammy awards and 64th respectively.
The “Heat” hitmaker who once said she will definitely win Ghana a Grammy has not given up on that dream, saying we should watch out for her in 2022 because she will bring home Grammy award.
“2022 is the year of Grammys, I’m bringing it to the motherland. Watch me!”, She wrote.
