The Dewu based club Dreams Fc will be hosting Accra Hearts of Oak on Saturday, December 25th on Match-Day of the Ghana Premier League.
The Phobians didn’t start their season well and it led to them failing in African club tournaments.
Currently, Hearts of Oak is ranked 12th on the league log with just 9 points. They have played only six matches and have won twice, drawing thrice and losing once in the Premier league this season.
Hearts of Oak could move to second position of they win all their three outstanding matches in the league.
For Dreams FC, they are ranked 5th on the league table after winning 4 matches, drawing 2 times and losing three times in the 9 matches they have played in the league.
Coach Samuel Boadu’s men are poised and in fine form after winning two consecutive league games for the first time this season and are looking forward to secure all three points this Saturday.
Dreams Fc would be taking inspiration from their talisman Issahaku who have just gained a Black Stars call-up to participate in next year’s AFCON.
Issahaku once again would be leading the forward line for Dreams FC. He has been on fine scoring form since the commencement of the league and could be the lucky man to help Dreams get a better results when they battle Hearts of Oak.
In the previous encounters, Accra Hearts of Oak have a better head-to-head record. The Phobians have won twice as Dreams have won only once.
On 2nd February, 2020, Hearts won 1-0 away from home and on 16th May, 2020, the match was cancelled.
Match was later played in December 2020 and Hearts of Oak emerged as winners of that match scoring 3 goals without a reply by Dreams FC.
The last meeting between these two sides was in May, 2021 and Dreams FC got the better of Hearts of Oak. Dreams won that match at home.
The match will start at exactly 3:00pm and both club will be fighting for the vital 3 points at stake.
