Buzzing Kenyan Hip-hop star, Khaligraph Jones has finally revealed the ordeal he went through before getting undisputably the biggest rap artist on the African continent, Sarkodie on a track.
Khaligraph Jones in an interview with Willis Raburu on Kenya’s Citizen tv ’10over10′ show expressed how frustrated he was after failing to secure a record with Adonai hit maker, Sarkodie due to his inability to get connection to him and his team.
Khaligraph Jones who is known in real life as Brian Ouko Robert revealed that he finally got an opportunity to record the ‘Wavy’ record with Sarkodie after Rudeboy of P-Square fame linked him up with Sarkodie.
He added that Sarkodie is part of the top five artists in Africa and an old gee in the African rap game. The video which was cited by www.Ghanaontheglobe.com saw Khaligraph expressing how difficult it is to get Sarkodie on a record due to his busy schedule.
The Kenyan rapper recently released his latest Hip-Hop record featuring Sarkodie titled ‘Wavy’. According to Khaligraph Jones the track was recorded in the late 2019 and was expected to be release in 2020 with a video but due to Covid-19 it could not materialize. Sarkodie shot his part of the video in Ghana and Khaligraph Jones did the rest in Kenya.
The video was released on 11th January, 2020 on YouTube and within two(2) day it was able to hit one million views. In 2009, Jones won Channel O Emcee Africa, a highly visible competition that propelled him immediately to nationwide acclaim.
