AFTER THE EXPLOSION, NON-RESIDENTS OF BOGOSO ARE POSING AS VICTIM TO GET MONEY AND FOOD- NADMO DECLARES

The incident that happened Thursday has left a lot of residents in Apiate homeless and jobless. Most of the people are at the edge of hunger right now. Although the president has promised to rebuild the city we still don’t know whether he will abide by what he has said.

Yesterday on 24th January, 2022 victims of Apiate received a cheque of GH2M from Ghana Gas for accommodation and shelter.

Back on the real news, non-residents of Apiate are doing some ungrateful things to the real victims of Apiate. Due to that, the Prestea Huni-Valley Municipality has organized a committee to help identify non-survivors and they will make sure that the food and any object are rewarded to the right people.

He stated: “Some of them wanted money instead of meals. But we found several of the purported survivors weren’t from Apiate.
“We have chosen not to offer them rice in quantities. “We will provide them what they need every day and cook it where they are staying,” he told GNA reporter.
NADMO was able to shelter about 150 survivors and they are currently at Bogoso’s Saint Michael Catholic Parish Hall in the Prestea Huni-Valley Municipality.

“Many of them are not ours. “I noticed a number of persons in the queue who are not Apiate residents,” – Madam Faustina Adjetey confidently spoke out. Faustina is also part of the 17-member committee.
