According to RTP, a Portuguese source, Lionel Messi is the winner of the 2021 Ballon d’Or award.
The source claims France Football have already counted the vote and have ‘informed’ Messi that he is a winner.
The PSG forward has even conducted an interview with the French magazine.
The Argentine will be presented with his seventh Ballon d’Or in an official ceremony on November 29.
