Rapper and CEO of Sarkcess Music, Sarkodie changes album release date.
The rapper was supposed to release his 7th studio album dubbed “No Pressure” on the 9th of this month, but for some reasons has pushed the date of the release forward.
The most anticipated album which his fanbase ‘Sarknation’ have been on television and radio tour to promote the album especially those in Kumasi as the album premier and party would have been held in Kumasi.
The management team and Sarkodie released a statement this morning regarding the postponement of the album release, it says;
” I know how excited you all are over for my new album #NoPressure. The feeling inspired me everyday in the studio to push myself and my songwriting to the limits. I’ve never been more determined to make an album that you’ll love deeply #NoPressure. To deliver the album that you all deserve, I need a little more time. There’s been a hold – up – clearing some samples, that’s all.
The new date for the ‘No Pressure’ album is 30th July 2021. It has moved from the 9th to 30th but the album will still be released this month.
The “Coachella” hitmaker also revealed that the party plans happening in Kumasi will still happen regardless of the album release postponement and the fact that he will release a new song on the 9th to make up for the album.
“Been very difficult to break this news but very necessary. I Love the energy SarkNation can’t thank you enough please let’s keep Same till then … New music Friday tho And we still turning up in Kumasi this weekend #NoPressureAlbum”, he wrote.
