King Promise Nominated For MOBO Awards
Afrobeat artiste King Promise has been nominated for the category (Best African Act) at the 2021 MOBO Awards.
The UK’s biggest celebration of Black music and culture, the MOBO Awards is back and Ghanaian artiste King Promise has earned a nomination as one of the best African Act year under review.
The “Slow Down” hitmaker has been nominated alongside Wizkid, Burna Boy, Davido, Tiwas Savage, Rema, Tems, CKay, Ayra Star and UK rap group NSG.
The awards will take place on the 5th of December, 2021 at the Coventry’s CBS Arena.
In 2006 Samini became the first Ghanaian to be awarded a MOBO when received “Best African Act” award for his exploits in the year under review which also included his self-titled album Samini.
